About
Me
My name is Joselyn Warga—though most know me as Jojo. I’m a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with a major in Fashion and Retail Studies. Currently, I’m continuing my education through a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certificate program at Ohio State, further expanding my understanding of how meaningful representation and inclusivity intersect with the world of fashion.

As a former student-athlete on the Ohio State Women’s Gymnastics team, I had the opportunity to compete on beam and floor—two events that demand a unique blend of artistry, strength, and discipline. That same energy and creative spirit continues to influence my work as a designer.

What fuels my creativity in fashion is a deep appreciation for avant-garde and couture design. I’m continually inspired by fashion’s ability to challenge norms, redefine identity, and serve as a powerful platform for self-expression. To me, fashion is more than just aesthetics—it’s an evolving conversation between culture, art, and the human experience.

Outside of design, I draw inspiration from film, music, and storytelling—all of which play a key role in how I approach creativity. These mediums fuel my curiosity and push me to think more deeply about the narratives behind each piece I create.

Looking ahead, my goal is to pursue a career in fashion design with an international focus. Whether that means continuing my studies or gaining hands-on experience in the global fashion scene, I’m excited to embrace the opportunities ahead.
